Summer Salmon Fishing : 11th - 16th June 2007

The course is centred on the Oykel Bridge Hotels beats of the upper Oykel and is for beginners and improvers alike. The course syllabus is flexible to suit both those attending and prevailing river conditions. The syllabus includes but is not limited to:

• Safety and wading
• Floating line casting techniques
• Single and double handed rods
• Overhead, Roll and Spey casting
• Controlling fly speed
• Reading a salmon pool
• Conservation and catch and release
• Casting analysis

Guests stay at the Oykel Bridge hotel, which has proved excellent. The staff go out of their way to make us as comfortable as possible and are fisherman friendly. They do a special package for my Courses at a cost of approximately £85.00/ day incl. Dinner, bed, breakfast and wonderful packed lunch.
